Nice to meet you.

I am an artist, journalist, and data visualizer based in New York. Since 2015 I have worked as a graphics editor at Scientific American. Before going into science journalism, I studied medical illustration at the Master of Science in Biomedical Communications program at the University of Toronto. The primary focus of my journalistic work is data visualization, but my love for figurative drawing remains strong, and my background in medical illustration continues to inform my approach to visual science communication. I also like to write when I get the chance.
